The Afty was in the news today when STV visited us to interview Irene Audain, chief executive of the Scottish Out of School Care Network (SOSCN).
“Good quality services like this just don’t come cheap,” said Irene, commenting on a report by the Daycare Trust which claimed that the cost of nurseries and out-of-school childcare in Scotland has risen by almost four times the rate of inflation. These were the highest increases in the UK, the Trust said.
