A new £9million ‘superschool’ in the West End WILL go ahead, according to the Evening Times.
The planned school in Dowanhill for Notre Dame and St Peter’s primaries was among a number of projects being put on hold due to fears over budget cuts.
Angry parents criticised the move and meetings took place between councillors, MSPs and officials.
Now a source within Glasgow City Council has told the Evening Times officials were left in no doubt this project would be going ahead.
