Popular blogger ‘Glasgow Punter’ has had children at the Afty for the past eleven years, and we’re very grateful to him for marking our 25th anniversary by posting a fascinating history of the primary school, complete with lots of old maps and photos.

It includes the fact that our building was originally planned in 1932 as a ‘drill hall’, probably for use in practising army drills at a time of increasing militarisation.
